About Us
What is
Hope After Dope Ministries
?
Curtis Presnell started Hope After Dope Ministries over three years ago to help alcoholics and drug addicts find a way to change their lives and make a commitment to better themselves and adjust to society. The most important part of this process is our faith in Jesus Christ and what he did for all of us on Calvary. If we can accept Jesus in our hearts and learn to follow Him we can learn to live like Christians and love our brethren as Jesus taught his disciples.
What is
Hope After Dope Ministries goal
?
As Curtis sees it; he hopes that one day our children will ask us.
“What were drugs?”
It may be a simple question, but in our society today drugs and alcohol ruin many families across our country. To give up or give in to drug addiction or alcoholism means to give up on family. The love for family is something we should never give up on. When we bring God and Jesus Christ into the family: it makes the family stronger.
How does
Hope After Dope
accomplish this?
The residents of the
House of Hope
attend Church and Revivals; take part in daily devotionals, and above all else daily meditation and prayer to grow as Christians. We believe that it is important to continue our spiritual growth to maintain a goal of returning to society.
Hope After Dope Ministries
is a non-profit organization. We receive no State or Federal assistance. Our supporting Churches and program fees from our clients and other donations from the public is the only means of support keeping our Ministry going. As the need for our services are in demand: we request you search your heart and look at the need to help us with our Ministry. Ask yourself this question, what if it was a member of my family or a close friend that is addicted to drugs or alcohol? Would you want to get help for them? This is what
Hope After Dope
is trying to achieve: helping those who cannot break the cycle of addiction by themselves.
By revealing to them what God has done for them through the precious blood of His Son Jesus Christ.
